Krasnodar, Russia (March 1, 2024): Magnit, one of Russia’s leading retailers, is launching a B2B service for delivering orders from other grocery and non-food stores, restaurants, and cafes to consumers.

Such orders will be brought to customers by Magnit Delivery couriers, who are currently delivering groceries and other goods from the Company’s retail formats (big boxes, convenience stores, and drogeries). Connecting partners to the new service will allow Magnit couriers to increase the number of completed orders and earn 1.5–2 times more. The service will be available across the entire geography of Magnit Delivery (which currently operates in 180 cities). The Company expects to see the highest demand in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other cities with over 1 million residents.

The technological platform developed by Magnit will help couriers find the best route to deliver orders to several addresses located close to each other within the time established by Magnit and partner companies. The standard delivery time from Magnit stores will remain unchanged.

Food chains are expected to be the first partners to join the service. During the initial stage, Magnit will work with companies that have the required technical capabilities to connect to the its infrastructure. By the end of the year, the Company plans to implement functionality that will allow small and medium-sized businesses to connect to the service.

The new service will also cover Dixy (part of Magnit Group). In the future, Magnit Market marketplace is also planned to be integrated (to provide for delivery of orders from pickup points in Magnit stores to customers).

By the end of 2024, the share of deliveries from restaurants and partner stores is expected to reach 30–40% of the total number of orders handled by Magnit couriers.
