Krasnodar, Russia (June 26, 2024): Magnit has teamed up with the Everland inclusive project to launch a series of motivational and practical events called Relay of Success. Aimed at young people with disabilities and their families, this initiative will take place across 10 regions and is expected to reach over one million participants. The programme is being implemented with the support of the Open for All inclusive project movement, organized by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives.

The federal social programme Relay of Success made its debut in 2023, aimed at helping young people with disabilities explore various pathways for success in work, creativity, sports, and social life. Additionally, the programme offers parents valuable resources to help their children gain greater independence. Participants can join the events both online and offline, and so far, over 700,000 individuals from Russia and beyond have taken part in the Relay.

During open talk events, young professionals with disabilities, their parents, representatives from non-profit organizations, educational institutions, and employers engage in discussions on a wide range of topics. These include acceptance of disability, health management, career choices, opportunities for professional and creative self-realization, government support, inclusive communication, and starting a family.

In 2024–2025, the Relay of Success programme will expand to include ten new territories: the Stavropol, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, Volgograd, Novosibirsk, Tambov, and Moscow regions, as well as the Republics of Mordovia, Bashkortostan, and Tatarstan. Magnit will provide grants to local non-profit organizations that will serve as programme operators in each region. The first events are set to kick off in July 2024, specifically in the Tambov, Sverdlovsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Stavropol regions. These events will be broadcast on the Magnit Vsevozmozhny (“Magnit Limitless”) platform and the VK page of the Open for All project. Each region will host three open conversations focused on crucial topics related to integrating young people with disabilities into the labor market.

Speakers at these events will include successful young professionals with disabilities, representatives from local non-profit organizations, universities, and colleges, as well as leaders of the inclusive movement in the region. Local government representatives will also present initiatives aimed at supporting the employment of young people with disabilities in their respective areas.
